A two hour wait is so long… I’m afraid he might get worse while we wait or catch something else while we’re here.
Tyler has the flu, but he’s going to be okay. You did the right thing bringing him in when you were worried.

He wasn’t feeling well but luckily it was just the flu. We didn’t know where else to go so we took him to the ER.
...FINALLY BACK HOME
Hey, the kids missed Tyler at practice today. Is he okay?
Oh no, I hope he’s better. We used to go to the ER too, but for things like flu, or an earache, we call the 24/7 nurse line or do a virtual visit.
That way we don’t make the kids more uncomfortable by rushing them to the ER and having them wait for a long time.
That’s really good to know. The doctor mentioned it, but it helps hearing you’ve used it too.
